You can also use your tail to kill enemies. If they hit your car or your tail, their car will turn into a line of white dots that you can collect to make your car longer. Besides that, you can get power-ups that will help you move faster and automatically absorb dots.
You can speed up to avoid getting hit by enemies as they come at you. Remember, though, that you should only use this when you need to since it can cut your tail short. The leaderboard is in the upper right area of the screen. It shows where you stand and who you're up against.
